9:29 a.m., April 20, 2009----The University of Delaware's StUDent Government Association will sponsor FestivALL, an event combining food, culture, and performance, on Friday, May 1. The event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on the North Green.

Free to all students, the afternoon FestivALL will feature continuous performances by UD student groups and a buffet meal prepared by Dining Services.

FestivALL seeks to bring together students from every part of the UD community and does so by providing an afternoon full of entertainment, featuring more than 20 registered student organizations (RSOs).

Students can enjoy performances from a variety of groups, including Delaware Dance Fever, Deltones, Swing Club, D-Sharps, Dark Arts, Fife and Drum Corps, Blue Hen Horn Club, Juggling Club, Medludees, Ballroom Dance Team, Vision Acapella, E-52, Kamaal, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and Harrington Theater Arts Company.

Throughout the afternoon, a free buffet will be available for all students. SGA, in conjunction with Dining Services, held an Iron Chef type competition for any interested RSOs. Several RSOs submitted a favorite dish, and Dining Services will reproduce the winning recipes for students to enjoy during the event.
