2 p.m., April 30, 2009----The University of Delaware's HealthyU Employee Wellness program invites employees to attend an interactive seminar exploring the health and organizational benefits of humor.
Elaine Boltz of Life Management Associates in Lancaster, Pa., will present "Humor in the Workplace" on Thursday, May 14, from 12:05-12:55 p.m. in the Bacchus Theatre of the Perkins Student Center.
Humor can enhance team building, open communication and increase creativity and learning, while also improving employee morale.
Learning how to change their perception of situations, attendees will learn how to unlock their humor potential to become more resilient to stressful times. Attendees will also learn how to determine appropriate humor and how to incorporate fun and humor into the workplace for increased productivity.
