Advertisement Guidelines
Job advertisements may be placed on the website
of the Urban Affairs Association (www.udel.edu/uaa). This service
is free to UAA Institutional Members. All others must pay a fee
of $300.00. If you would like to become an Institutional Member,
log onto the UAA website and complete the online membership payment
process. You may find it helpful to review
current ads on the website.
To use this service, please complete the
following steps:
Send your advertisement in MS Word format
to Kay Seyedabbasi at kaydela@udel.edu.
Please specify in the email the name of your
institution, a contact name, and a phone number.
If your institution is a member the ad will
be posted within 48 hours of receipt.
If your institution is not a member payment
is due before the ad will be posted.
You have two payment choices:
- Payment by institutional check. You will
be emailed a traditional invoice.
Please make out check payments to UAA and mail to:

Newark, DE 19716
- Payment by credit card through our online
payment system. You will be emailed an electronic invoice containing
a link to the payment site.
The posting will appear on our website within
48 hours of receipt of payment.
Finally, please notify UAA when the position
has been filled so that the posting may be removed from our website.
Ads shall remain posted until June 1. At
that time, if UAA has not been contacted, the UAA office shall contact
institutions regarding their ads before they are pulled. If an institution
wishes, it may extend the ad. For institutions submitting ads close
to the June 1 deadline, exceptions shall be made on a case-to-case
basis.
