Preliminary Conference Schedule
(check back for updates)

This year the UAA conference schedule has been designed to pack as much content as possible into a three and one-half day period.  The schedule is designed to allow for the longer travel times to reach Honolulu.  The Thursday and Friday starting times are earlier than usual so that we can take advantage of the difference in the time zone.  Hawaii time is 10 hours behind Greenwich Time which means Honolulu time is:

3 hours behind Los Angeles (6am in Honolulu=9am in Los Angeles)
5 hours behind Chicago       (6am in Honolulu=11am in Chicago)
6 hours behind New York     (6am in Honolulu=12 noon in New York)
11 hours behind London       (6am in Honolulu=5pm or 17:00 in London)
19 hours behind Tokyo         (6am in Honolulu=1am in Tokyo)

Note: Since it normally takes the human body several days to make time zone adjustments, your body’s physical clock will continue to operate as though you were at home.
