Dining On Campus
Dining at the University of Delaware is an experience. A quick snack, a casual sit-down meal or fine dining are all available from UD Dining Services. The campus has more than 18 dining locations,so students are never more than about a 5-minute walk from a dining location. The varied food options are sure to satisfy any appetite.
There are four all-you-care-to-eat dining halls: Kent Dining Hall on Central campus; Pencader Dining Hall on Laird Campus; Russell Dining Hall on East Campus; and Rodney Dining Hall on West Campus. Each dining hall meal provides an outstanding variety. In addition to three main entrees served at each meal, fresh dough pizza, pasta with signature 
sauce, an incredible deli, super salad bar, homemade soups and a grille station are always available. Vegetarian and vegan options, as well as many other healthy food options, also are available.
Other dining locations include the Scrounge Food Court and the Trabant University Center Food Court, that includes chains such as Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell and Quiznos. There are also five snack bars, three campus markets, and fine dining at the Blue & Gold Club, as well as concession stands at athletic and other campus events.
Students may choose from a variety of dining programs, so there's sure to be a dining plan to fit everyone's busy schedule or eating patterns. Plans include a mix of "meals" to be used in the dining halls and "points" to be used at food courts, snack bars, campus markets, delivery spots, concessions and the Blue & Gold Club.
Dining Services constantly listens to students and other customers through comment cards, regular surveys, personal interviews, focus groups and e-mail, and it is committed to providing the highest quality food coupled with outstanding service.

Vita Nova
A gourmet dining establishment, Vita Nova is operated by the students in the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. The Vita Nova dining room provides both a unique applied classroom experience for students and delicious fine dining for patrons. The restaurant offers both a buffet lunch and full service gourmet meals in the evenings during the fall and spring semesters. Reservations are highly recommended.
