MS Word UDThesis Layout Files

Degree with Distinction and Honors Degree Candidates

The MS Word UDThesis Layout Files are MS Word files designed to act as models for formatting senior theses according to the University of Delaware's Senior Thesis Format Manual published by the Undergraduate Research Program. "Styles" incorporated into the files allow quick access to frequently used format settings and help to maintain consistency in the format of a document.

Note: These templates are designed to be used with MS Word version 97 or later.

The file UDSeniorThesis.exe is a self-extracting archive that contains the following files:

	readme - senior thesis.doc
	example - senior thesis.doc
	unnumbered - honors.doc
	unnumbered - degree with distincion.doc
	numbered - honors.doc
	numbered - degree with distincion.doc

To extract the files, download UDSeniorThesis.exe (see below) to the folder (e.g., C:\MYTHESIS) or diskette where you will access the files.

In Windows, use My Computer or the Windows Explorer to find the folder in which you stored the file.
Double-click the icon for the UDSeniorThesis.exe file.
Make sure you specify the same directory path (e.g., C:\MYTHESIS) in the "Unzip to folder" box, then click the Unzip button.
Click OK after the files have been extracted.
Click Close on the original window.

After the files are extracted, you can delete UDSeniorThesis.exe.

The MS Word UDThesis Layout files require about 198K of disk space.
