Can't send messages
Remember: You may not have to perform all of these steps. After each
step, check to see if the problem still occurs. If it does, go to the next
step. If you've completed all the steps, call the Help Center at 831-6000,
Monday through Friday from 8am to 5 pm.

Not being able to send mail is often a symptom that the your preferences
may not be set correctly.

Verify that your
preferences are correct.

Try sending another e-mail. If you continue to have problems proceed to
the next step.

Check to be sure that you have a good connection to the network.

Open Netscape Communicator.

In the Location box, type
http://www.weather.com
-
If you are able to reach this location, you have a good connection to the
network.

If you are not able to reach the location, close Netscape
("File | Exit").

Open Netscape Navigator again and try the weather location again.

If you reach the location, open Messenger and try sending another e-mail.
-
If the connection to the network is still not working, call the Help
Center at 831-6000.

If you have a good connection, but are still having difficulty sending
e-mail, proceed to the next step.

If you are over your quota limit on the mainframe, you will not be able
to save or send a message.
Be sure you are
under quota.
