Install Netscape

Remember: You will need to perform all the steps listed below to install Netscape.

1. Download Netscape.
   1. Click the Windows Software link.
   2. Click on "Download Netscape Communicator v4.79"
   3. Click on "Save File".
   4. By the "Save in" dialog box, click the drop down arrow and select "Desktop".
   5. Click "Save".
   6. Continue with the next step.

2. Install Netscape
   1. Find the net479.exe file that you save in the step above.
   2. Open Windows Explorer; click the "Start" button on the desktop. Look for Programs and Windows Explorer.
   3. Double click on "Desktop" in the folder list on the left side of the window. (You may need to scroll up to see "Desktop".)
   4. Double click on the filename "net479.exe" from the right side of the window.
   5. If asked, click "OK" and Yes". Accept the defaults.
   6. Continue with the next step.

3. Open Netscape and verify that your Netscape configuration (preferences) are correct.
