Mirapoint Conversion: Pointing Your E-Mail Program at mail.udel.edu

General Explanation Some members of the UD community have been reading their UD e-mail using copland.udel.edu or strauss.udel.edu as their incoming and/or outgoing e-mail servers. The documentation for all supported mail programs urges users to point at mail.udel.edu for e-mail services. The University is in the process of moving all users to a new e-mail system from Mirapoint. When your e-mail account is moved to the new system, your e-mail address will remain the same. However, in order to send and receive e-mail, your e-mail program(s) will need to point to mail.udel.edu as both the incoming and outgoing mail server. This document contains directions for the e-mail programs supported at the University of Delaware so that, if you need to change this part of your e-mail configuration, you can do so.
