Disabling the Old Proxy

If you have been using the University's web proxy service prior to October 1, 2003, you may need to disable the old method of using our proxy service before you can configure your web browser to use the new proxy service.

  2. Select the Connections tab.

  3. LAN/CABLE/DSL Directions:
If you are connecting through a LAN connection (e.g., at work), a cable modem, or a DSL modem, select LAN Settings.
