These are the procedures for downloading and configuring the NCP VPN client on Windows 64-bit and Windows 7:
Please visit http://www.ncp-e.com/en/downloads/software.html and download from this site a 30-day unrestricted trial version of the NCP Secure Entry Client (Win32/64).
NCP Secure Entry Client (Win32/64) Version 9.20 Build 33 Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP (all 32/64 bit)
Download and save the attached file UDVPN.pcf (0.7 KB).
Try it. If it works for you and you need more than 30-days of use, send a request for a permanent key to consult@udel.edu.
Install the software.
**Click twice on Disk 1. Choose Setup-->Run-->English. Choose the default installation prompts. Choose to restart when prompted.
**After restart, choose Cancel to Test Connection to NCP server.
Copy the attached file UDVPN.pcf to the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\NCP\SecureClient
Open the Secure Entry Client Monitor.
Click on the Configuration tab.
Click on the Profile Import option.
Import the file you just copied above.
That file should now show up as a Profile in the Profile drop-down box of the
Secure Entry Client Monitor window.
Click the Configuration tab.
Click Profiles.
Highlight the new profile.
Click Edit.
Click Identities.
Change the User ID under XAUTH to your UdelNet userid.
Click OK.
Click OK.
Select the new profile in the Profile box.
Click Connect.
You should get a box with your UdelNet userid already in it.
Enter your UdelNet userid password.
Click OK.
The NCP Secure Entry Client window will show it connecting as a VPN Dial-Up.
Then it will say "Connection has been established".
Click on Connection.
Click on Connection Info.
All your connection info will be displayed.
