Using Cisco VPN 32-bit at UD for Windows

The University of Delaware allows faculty, staff and students to use UD's Virtual Private Network (VPN) to log into resources usually restricted to on-campus use.

The Cisco VPN 32-bit client software is available for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 computers.

Download the VPN client software from UDeploy. (May require your UDelNet ID and password.)

Directions for Windows Users

  1. If you have not restarted your computer since the last time you installed Windows updates, restart your computer now.
  2. Doubleclick the icon for the vpnclient-win-msi-xxxx.exe file to unzip the software.
  3. Select UnZip to start the installation and click OK after the files are unzipped.
  4. Vista users will see a User Account Control Window before the installation starts. If you see this window, select Allow.
