Clickers: Experience It Yourself
Clickers are wireless keypads or personal response systems that faculty can use to increase interactivity in their classroom, especially for a
large lecture class. This technology provides instant feedback to both instructors and students.
See how clickers can enhance feedback, motivation, and engagement especially in large lecture classes. You will also have the opportunity to discuss with your peers how you would implement this technology in your classes and step through actually creating questions for your students.

Clickers: Integrating Data with MyCourses (WebCT)
Clickers are wireless keypads or personal response systems that faculty can use to increase interactivity in their classroom, especially for a large lecture class. This technology provides instant feedback to both instructors and students.
Learn how to transfer student roster and gradebook information between InterWrite PRS and Mycourses (WebCT).
Clickers: Staff Training
Clickers are wireless keypads or personal response systems that faculty can use to increase interactivity in their classroom, especially for a large lecture class. This technology provides instant feedback to both instructors and students.
This session will address issues that staff who support faculty and students may have regarding the clicker system adopted by the University beginning Fall 2006.
Clickers: The Basics for TAs
Clickers are wireless keypads or personal response systems that faculty can use to increase interactivity in their classroom, especially for a large lecture class. This technology provides instant feedback to both instructors and students. TAs asked to support their faculty in this endeavor can learn the fundamentals of the Interwrite PRS clicker system.
This includes: using the clicker, setting up IDs, joining a class and getting an overview of the PRS software. You will learn how to create questions and see the resources and support that is available.
Clickers: Working with the data for TAs
This session on clickers will focus on managing the data obtained using clickers. This includes information stored in the PRS Roster, Sessions, and Gradebook. We will also review how this data can interface with MyCourses (WebCT).
TAs should check with their faculty members to determine if they will be using clicker data with WebCT. Note that if you only have TA access to a WebCT course you will not be able to upload files into WebCT. If this is something that your faculty member needs you to do, you must attend a MyCourses (WebCT) Intro class and the instructor must request that you be made a designer in the course.
