UD undergraduate teacher education programs are located in five
colleges:

Agriculture and Natural Resources;

Arts and Sciences (Secondary Education);

Health Sciences;

Human Services, Education, and Public Policy; and
- Marine and Earth Studies
Responsibility for the coordination of the professional education
programs rests with the University Council on Teacher Education
(UCTE). The University of Delaware is guided by a unified
conceptual framework.
Programs aim to develop teachers who are reflective practitioners
serving diverse communities of learners as scholars, problem solvers,
and partners. For information on specific programs, students should
review the curriculum requirements for each area listed below and/or
contact the faculty advisor/coordinator
for the specific area/s of certification sought.
