2014 Orientation Leader

First Year Residence Hall:
I love anything that involves guitars, drinking lattes with friends, listening to people who can sing, and eating cheesecake.
Blue Hen Ambassador, Public Relations Student Society of America, Lori’s Hands.
Most exciting UD memory:
The first time I ever had UDairy Ice Cream. That was a life changing experience.
Advice for a new student:
This is your chance to start over and explore things you never have had the chance to before! If you aren’t satisfied with the way you were in high school, change that. If you loved your high school experience, translate that to UD! UD is a major platform for success and you are only limited by yourself. Dream big and stop at nothing until you are there.
Why I chose Delaware:
The second I looked down The Green, I knew I needed to come to Delaware. The brick buildings are exactly how I pictured college. The school was the perfect size for me and I loved the undeniable spirit I felt when I walked through campus.
How I decided on my major:
I have always been most in my comfort zone when talking to people, so it was only natural for me to study the art of talking to people. The Communications major at UD is jam packed with fun and outgoing professors so I have been reassured plenty of times that I made the right decision.
“Penny & Me” by Hanson…yes, Hanson.

Plans after college:
My plan is to work towards a career as a part of NBC Network’s creative team. Hopefully, I get to work for SNL or Jimmy Fallon one day.
Taking into account shows I have seen more than once, I have been to a Broadway show over 60 times.
