First Year Residence Hall:

Jamming out on my instruments, lifting at the gym, and reading a LOT of mythology.

UD Involvement:

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), Resources to Insure Successful Engineers (RISE), University of Delaware Marching Band (UDMB).

Most exciting UD memory:

Stepping onto the football field for the first time with the marching band!

Advice for a new student:

Don’t take a second of your time here for granted, take chances and seize the day.

Advice for their parents:

Rest easy knowing that your students are in good hands!

Why I chose Delaware:

I chose Delaware because of my experience at NSO.  I was on the fence between UD and another university, but as soon as I experienced the campus for myself I was hooked.

How I decided on my major:

In 11th grade I fell in love with chemistry and I’ve always wanted to do something that changes the world for the better.  Chemical Engineering is my best outlet to do this and I’m very happy with my choice

Favorite TV show:

Spongebob Squarepants

Favorite song:

“Dream On” by Aerosmith

Plans after college:

Join a research team for DuPont and work my way up to the top of the career ladder.
