Erin is the NODA Intern for UD’s 2013 summer orientation program. She currently is a graduate student at Grand Valley State University in Michigan, pursuing a master’s degree in Higher Education: College Student Affairs Leadership and working in their Housing and Residence Life department. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has two years of experience working for UW-Madison’s orientation program. Erin was born and raised just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is looking forward to her first summer on the East Coast!
Erin will play an integral role among the professional leadership team in the NSO Office. She will be co-supervising the 2 Senior Leaders and 21 Orientation Leaders throughout the summer and will assist with the implementation of each orientation session to help welcome freshman and transfer students and their families to the university.
Erin is extremely excited to continue working with incoming students and to explore the ins-and-outs of a new university with so much school pride. Apart from her time spent changing lives on campus, you may also spot her enjoying free samples at a local farmers market, soaking in the last bit of sun on an evening jog, or grilling out at a weekend sporting event, preferably on a Packer’s Sunday.
