The Introduction workshops will cover setting up an account, managing references, exporting references from research databases, and creating bibilographies and other basic features.

The Advanced workshops will cover exporting references from research databases, organizing references, using Write-N-Cite feature to insert in-text citations, edit in-text citations, and create bibiliographies or reference lists.

All workshops will take place in the Library Instruction Room, 116A Morris Library

LiveType 2 Workshop

Apple's LiveType provides a video editing tool with robust options for creating text. LiveType provides useres with creative control through its collection of live fonts, custom effects, animated elements, and more. This hands-on workshop will cover how to build animated text, export the text as a video file, and incorporate the file into other video projects.

Motion 3 Workshop

Apple's Motion provides users with the flexibility to take two-dimensional graphics and create 3D animations. With Motion's intuitive interface, filters, effects, time saving tools and real-time environment, users can create high quality video in a short amount of time. This hands-on workshop will introduce the basics of Motion, teach how to import and manipulate photoshop projects, and how to export the animation as a video file.
