She is the moderator and managing editor of Washington Week and senior correspondant for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. Prior to joining PBS, Ifill covered politics and national affairs for NBC News, The New York Times, the Washington Post and the Baltimore Sun.

Symposium on Nobel Prizes
Part II: Chemistry, Literature, Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences

- Brian Bahson, associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry will talk about the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
- Monika Shafi, Elias Ahuja Professor of German and Director of Women's Studies
will speak about the Nobel Prize for Literature.
- Jeffrey Miller, professor of economics, will discuss the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Studies in Memory of Afred Nobel.
All of the talks are intended for an audience of non-specialist.
