Appellate Board Student Member Application Information
Thank you for your interest in becoming a student member of the Appellate Board. The Appellate Board is the final reviewing body for pending student conduct matters and is an integral part of the student conduct process.
The timeline is as follows:
|February 10-26, 2014
||Applications available (online and in person at the Office of Student Conduct)
|February 26, 2014 @ 4:30PM
||Complete application and references submitted to the Office of Student Conduct.
|February 28, 2014
||Qualified applicants invited for individual interviews with a member of the OSC staff.
|March 3-14, 2014
||Individual interviews conducted.
|March 20, 2014
||Selected candidates invited to participate in a group interview.
|March 24-28, 2014
||Group interview conducted. (Specifc date, time and location TBA)
|April 9, 2014
To apply for membership on the Appellate Board, complete the following steps:
1. Read the welcome letter (click here to open), which provides information about qualifications, requirements and timeline.
2. Complete the application (click here to open). Once completed, please submit to the Office of Student Conduct, either via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org), Campus Mail (address to: Office of Student Conduct, 218 Hullihen Hall), fax (302-831-8191) or hand deliver.
3. Give the Recommendation Form (click here to open) to three references. At least two of these references must be members of the University community. Instruct your references to send the completed form directly to the Office of Student Conduct, either via e-mail (email@example.com), Campus Mail (address to: Office of Student Conduct, 218 Hullihen Hall), fax (302-831-8191) or hand delivery.
