Job Description: Building Manager
Building Managers are responsible for providing superior customer service to University students, staff, guests, and visitors within the Student Centers. Responsibilities include oversight and management of all night/weekend programs and events taking place within the Centers as well as safety, security, and facility maintenance concerns, communicating with custodial staff regarding setup and other custodial needs, evacuating the Centers during emergencies according to written policies and procedures, conducting security checks of the Centers routinely during shift, making decisions regarding proper use of the facility including, but not limited to, group meetings, lounge areas, and recreation areas. Duties also include oversight of Information Desk and Hen Zone operations, processing the nightly cash/flex sales, recording all revenue through the reconciliation of cash reports, as well as other duties as assigned.

1) Superior customer service and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
2) Excellent communication and leadership skills.
3) Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
4) Experience in leadership/management positions.
5) General knowledge of multiple areas of the University community a plus.
6) Punctuality, reliability, and dependability
7) Interest in working in a fun, exciting, and rewarding environment.
Requirements:
1. Must be able to work nights and weekends.
2. Able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week.
3. Must be a matriculated University of Delaware undergraduate or graduate student with a minimum overall GPA of 2.0.
