MISSION
The
mission of the Student Centers at the
University of Delaware is to provide: User
friendly services and programs within well
maintained, attractive campus facilities;
leadership opportunities that develop student
competencies, ethical standards and
communication skills; activities that enhance
school spirit, and programs that reflect the
social, cultural, intellectual, spiritual and
diverse quality of campus life.
Experience
campus life by looking into UD's two student
centers, the Perkins Student Center and the
Trabant University Center.
PERKINS
STUDENT
CENTER
The
Perkins Student Center features a wide range
of indoor and outdoor activities and
services, including meetings, lectures
and theatrical performances. The Scrounge and
University Bookstore highlight the Center's
facilities, which also include meeting rooms and study space.
A number of registered student organizations
also have offices in the Perkins Student
Center, with activities ranging from
community service to concerts, performances
to publishing, broadcasting to
backpacking.
TRABANT
UNIVERSITY
CENTER
The
Trabant University Center offers a diverse
program of extracurricular activities
including films, meetings, lectures,
concerts, and trips. Among the extensive
facilities are a large food court, a copy and
fax center, a campus shop offering art
supplies and insignia items, a box office for
University and Ticketmaster events, a travel
booking agency, and quiet, comfortable study
areas.
