NORFOLK, VA -- Senior standout Susan Pollack (right) dropped her first-round singles match at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association North Regional on Saturday at Old Dominion, falling 7-5, 6-4 to Denise Liebschner of Seton Hall.

Pollack, whose 57 career singles victories are good for fifth in Delaware history, fell to 8-4 on the season.

In doubles action, Pollack and freshman Courtney Fenimore were defeated by 14th-seeded Laura Burns and Vera Petrashevich of VCU in Saturday's first round. The duo finished the fall campaign with a 9-4 record.

Pollack became UD's all-time leader in doubles wins earlier in the month and now has 61 victories to her credit.

The regional event continues through Tuesday evening, but no Delaware players remain in contention.
