NEWPORT NEWS, VA -- Senior standout Susan Pollack, one of the most decorated players in University of Delaware women's tennis history, added another feather to her cap on Thursday, when she was named second-team All-Colonial Athletic Association. Freshman Courtney Fenimore (at right) took home some hardware of her own with a third-team nod, while Pollack and Fenimore were also chosen to the All-CAA doubles second team.

Pollack, a Wyomissing, PA native, has gone 18-6 at first singles this season for the Blue Hens (11-2, 5-0 CAA), leading UD to its best-ever CAA mark by going a perfect 5-0 in league play. Her 67 career singles wins rank fourth all-time at Delaware, and she's won more than 72 percent of her singles matches during her four years as a Hen. Perhaps even more remarkable is the fact that Pollack has played every singles match of her career at the No. 1 position.

Fenimore, meanwhile, has established herself as one of the Colonial's brightest young talents. The rookie sensation from Ardmore, PA has gone 18-5 on the year, including 9-2 in the spring season and 5-0 in conference play. Her 18 singles victories are tied for the fourth-most ever by a UD freshman.

Pollack and Fenimore, Delaware's No. 1 duo all season, earned second-team doubles honors on the strength of a 17-7 overall record and a 4-0 mark in CAA matches.

Pollack, the school's all-time leader in doubles wins with 69, was also named first-team All-CAA in doubles and second-team all-league in singles as a sophomore in 2005-06.

Megan Moulton-Levy of William & Mary was named CAA Player of the Year and was joined by two Tribe teammates on the All-CAA first team. Rookie of the Year honors went to Old Dominion's Nadine Fahoum and VCU's Kateryna Yergina.

Pollack, Fenimore, and the rest of the Blue Hens hit the court tomorrow afternoon for a CAA quarterfinal showdown with Georgia State.
