NEWARK, DE -- The University of Delaware women’s soccer team has added Stephanie Miller to the program as an assistant coach, head coach Scott Grzenda has announced.

Miller (right) was a four-year standout at Old Dominion University from 2001-2004, and holds ODU single-season records by posting an .822 save percentage and a 1.18 goals against average in her senior season for the Monarchs.

Last season Miller served as an assistant coach at Old Dominion, primarily working with the goalkeepers. She also set up a scouting and recruiting database and coordinated team travel. In the spring of 2006 Miller was an assistant coach at Frank W. Cox High School in Virginia Beach, VA. She helped lead Frank W. Cox to a 20-2-2 record, a state runner-up finish, and a No. 10 national ranking by adidas/NSCAA. She earned her United States Soccer Federation “D” Coaching License in 2005.

Miller earned her degree in physical education from Old Dominion in 2005, majoring in sport management with a minor in marketing. She currently resides in Elkton, MD.
