NEWARK, DE -- The University of Delaware women’s soccer team is ranked 12th in the latest Soccer Buzz Magazine Mid-Atlantic Poll released this week.
The Blue Hens (7-5-2, 4-3 Colonial Athletic Association) move up from 14th last week, when they entered the rankings for the first time in the 2005 season. The Hens move up after a week in which they lost to Virginia Commonwealth, 1-0, and defeated James Madison by the same score. Those two teams are ranked sixth and ninth respectively in this week’s Mid-Atlantic Regional rankings.

Undefeated Penn State remains in the top spot, followed by Virginia, West Virginia, Villanova and Loyola, MD.
