At Delaware: Will again start in goal for the Blue Hens • enters the season ranked eighth in UD history with 242 career saves • 2007: Appeared in all 17 games and started 16 in the Delaware goal • ranked second in the Colonial Athletic Association with a 9.88 goals against average • made 117 saves on the year • recorded double digit saves in four games, including a season-high 13 against Hofstra • stopped 12 shots in the win over George Mason • made 11 saves versus William & Mary and 10 against Towson • allowed just two goals against Villanova and three versus Davidson. 2006: Appeared in 16 games while starting 14 in the Delaware goal • posted a 12.63 goals against average while making 125 saves in 803 minutes of action • ranked fifth in the CAA with a 42.5 save percentage and 7.81 saves per game • posted double digit saves in six games, including a season-high 15 against Drexel • had 13 saves at Old Dominion and 12 at Hofstra • allowed just five goals while making 10 saves in the win over Penn • named Womenslacrosse.com Rookie of the Week on March 20.

High School: Competed in lacrosse, soccer, and bowling at Islip High School • played goalkeeper in lacrosse and served as team captain as a senior • earned all-county, all-league, and All-Galaxy first team honors • member of New York National team and Long Island Empire State team • also played goalkeeper in soccer and led team to a league title during her career • honor roll student.

Personal: Jessica Leigh Cerveny (“sir-vain-nee”) • daughter of Robert and Marilyn Cerveny • has an older brother, Kristopher • mother is a nurse • CHEP major at Delaware with a minor in coaching.
