At Delaware: Will start for the Blue Hens in goal...size and strength make her a hard keeper to score on...2003: Played in 14 games for the Hens, starting 12 as the Hens' main goalkeeper in 2003...held a GAA of 12.57...recorded a team-high 110 saves...also scooped up 22 ground balls.

High School: Four-year member of Springfield women's lacrosse team...first team All-Central League, All-Delaware County and All-American in 2002...also played four years of soccer, earning first team All-Central and All-Delaware County honors as a senior in 2001.

Personal: Patrice F. Hughes...born April 3, 1984...daughter of Frank and Mia Hughes...member of National Honor Society and SADD at Springfield...enjoys water skiing in her free time...has an older sister, Erin (21), and a younger brother, Frank (16)...high school teammate of current UD sophomore Kristin Cellucci.
