At Delaware: 2002: All-American candidate...co-captain...team's top returning scorer....has never missed a game at UD, playing in all 53...owns team-best 51 career goals and 72 points...needs 28 points to become just 23rd player in UD history to reach 100 career points...should be among top players in the CAA...three-time letterwinner...outstanding scoring ability....team's tallest player at 5-10...has long strides and covers a lot of ground...expected to be one of the team leaders in draw controls again...2001: Enjoyed an outstanding season for the Blue Hens...started all 17 games...named first team IWLCA All-Mid Atlantic Region and second team All-America East....ranked eights in America East in scoring (2.53 ppg) and was eighth in draw controls (49)...team's second leading scorer with 43 points on 32 goals and 11 assists...led team with 85 shots on goal and in groundballs with 37...third on team with 30 caused turnovers...her five goals vs. Richmond were a career-high and most by any UD player during the season...had 11 games with two or more goals...had season-high six points (4 goals, 2 assists) vs. Notre Dame....2000: Moved into the starting lineup as a sophomore and played a key role as Blue Hens advanced to the NCAA Tournament...played in all 18 games with 17 starts...ranked eighth on the team in scoring with 14 points on nine goals and five assists...also had 39 shots on goal and picked up 16 groundballs...did not score in the first three games but got hot and tallied seven times in the next nine outings...had season-high three goals in regular season victory over America East foe Hofstra...also scored and dished out an assists vs. New Hampshire...scored game-winning goals in league play vs. Vermont and New Hampshire...1999: Team's top scoring freshman... played in all 18 games with one start...ranked seventh on the team in scoring...scored 10 goals on just 29 shots and dished out five assists for 15 points and added 17 groundballs...scored two goals three times vs. James Madison, Vermont, and Hofstra... had season-high two assists vs. Richmond.

High School: Three-sport standout in lacrosse, volleyball, and basketball at Haverford High School...teammate of Blue Hen goalkeeper Laurie Tortorelli...earned 11 varsity letters...earned All-American, All-County and All-League honors in lacrosse as a four-year varsity starter...led team to one league title...All-League player in basketball as a four-year starter...earned three letters in volleyball...led team to league title and third place finish at state championships in 1998...named Main Line Athlete of the Year as a senior...was Philadelphia Inquirer Area Player of the Year in lacrosse as a senior.

Personal: Ashley Marie Moderacki. (mod-ur-ahh-key)..born April 19, 1980 in Arizona...daughter of Gary Moderacki and Theresa DiTrolio...oldest of three children....art major...works as a camp counselor during the summer months....biked across the United States this past summer.
