LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ -- Sophomore Cristine Marquez won three events and set a school record in the 500 meter run and University of Delaware athletes captured seven first place finishes at the Princeton Invitational Saturday at The Lawrenceville School.

The Blue Hen women had six first place finishes as Marquez (at right) captured the 200 meter (24.93) and 500 meter (1:14.87) events and teamed with Kristi Cox, Kyla Hennessy, and Asha Quant to win the 4 x 400 meter relay in 4:03.29, Amanda Marshall won the weight throw (54-7 1/4), Annie Fulton was the winner in the triple jump (35-8 1/2), and Quant won the long jump (18-3 3/4).
