Delaware at the Towson Invitational Sept. 12, 1998 1st Place
The University of Delaware men's and women's
cross country teams opened the 1998 season on a
high note Saturday as both captured team titles at
the Towson University Invitational. In the women's
race, the Hens earned 34 points to beat out Maine,
Towson, Loyola, Coppin State, and Morgan State. For
the Blue Hen women, Caron Marra took the
individual title as she covered the 3.1 mile course
in a time of 18:59 to win by four seconds. Also for
UD, Sarah Johnson was fourth in 19:43,
Aimee Alexander was sixth in 20:06, and
Kristen Robbins was eight in 20:23.

2. Maine- 63; 3. Towson - 71; 4. Loyola - 73; 5.
Coppin St. - 139; 6. Morgan St. - 160.
