defensive rebounds and tied for the team

Terrapins Classic MVP...helped lead
Maryland to an 86-85 win over No. 5 seed
Miami (FL) in the NCAA Tournament First
Round, the program's first NCAA win in 12
years...
2002-03
Season: ACC All-Freshman Team
selection...averaged 8.4 points and 4.6
rebounds per game...led the league by
hitting 41.3 percent of her three-point
attempts in conference games...led the
team with a .382 (42-110) three-point
percentage...ranked sixth on the UM
single-season lists for three-pointers
made and three-point field goal
percentage, and eighth for three-pointers
attempted...posted 10 double-figure
scoring games, including nine in the final
11 contests of the season...earned ACC
Rookie of the Week honors after scoring 20
points on 6-of-7 shooting from behind the
arc against nationally-ranked North
Carolina...grabbed 10 rebounds against
Rider and Wake Forest.

School: Named Gannett Press New Jersey
Player of the Year...scored 1.775 points
for Rumson-Fair Haven while leading team
to a 94-19 mark in her four
years...averaged 4.5 assists and 3.1
steals per game, and grabbed 1,265 career
rebounds...finished career as the second
leading scorer and the all-time rebounding
leader...led team to three state sectional
championships...received 2002 MSG Player
of the Year award in tri-state area (New
Jersey, New York, Connecticut), the Kerwin
Award for the Most Outstanding Girls
Basketball Player in the Jersey Shore
area, and the Jersey Sports News
Award...named First Team All-Shore her
last threeyears and was a three-time
all-state selection.
