WEST HARTFORD, CT -- Cindy Johnson scored a game-high 20 points to lead four players in double-figures as University of Delaware remained unbeaten in America East action with a 77-73 overtime win over University of Hartford in women's basketball action Thursday night at Chase Family Arena. The win set Delaware school records for consecutive wins at 17 and consecutive road wins at nine. It was also Delaware's 24th straight America East regular season win as the Blue Hens moved to 22-3 overall and 16-0 in America East action. After two Megan Dellegrotti free throws with 58 seconds left, Delaware led 65-60. However, a three-pointer by Anne Whalen with 41 seconds left cut the margin to two. After Johnson missed a shot with 12 seconds left, Hartford called timeout and got a basket by Janeka Lopp to tie the score with just four seconds left. In overtime, however, Delaware scored nine of the first 12 points to take a six-point lead, 75-68, capped by Christina Rible's bucket with 1:32 play. Rible finished the game with 13 points and 13 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the season. The Blue Hens had four players in double-figures on the night. Danielle Leyfert added 13 points, while Lindsay Davis added 11 points, including 3-for-3 from three-point range. Hartford, which got 17 points from Dorcas Miller, is now 12-13, 7-9 in conference play.
