As a Blue Hen: Walk-on guard...second-year team member...good ball handler who will add depth at point guard behind freshmen Liz Hayes and Elena Koshansky. 2002-03 Season: Joined Blue Hens as a walk-on at the start of the season...appeared in two games, both in wins over Towson University...appeared on one minute of action both games. 2001-02 Season: Did not play intercollegiate basketball. High School: Four-year letterwinner in basketball at Mt. St. Joseph Academy in Flourtown, PA, leading her team to a pair of state championships...earned all-area honors and was an All-Catholic Academy League selection...earned three varsity letters in soccer at Mt. St. Joseph's before suffering a knee injury that kept her from playing as a senior. Personal: Jaclyn Marie "Jackie" Gordon...born May 20, 1983 in Abington, PA...daughter of Drew and Bernadette Gordon...youngest of three children...older brother, Brett, played quarterback at rival Villanova, leading Wildcats to the 2002 NCAA I-AA semifinals and finishing second in the Walter Payton Offensive Player of the Year...Brett coaches at Villanova this season...her father, Drew, and grandfather, Andrew, were also quarterbacks at Villanova...journalism major with a minor in psychology at Delaware...thinking about a career in sports journalism.
