STORRS, CT -- Connecticut defeated Delaware, 3-0, by game scores of 16-14, 15-13, 15-8, Friday night in women's volleyball action at the UConn Invitational. Jennifer Wanner led the Delaware attack with 13 kills and hit .476 for the match. Amy Carroll added 11 kills for the Hens. In her return from a severe ankle sprain that forced her to miss most of last season, senior Joanna Dusza had eight kills and 22 digs. Chanice Harris and Jamice Dykema led the Huskies with 10 kills each. Play resumes Saturday morning with Delaware taking on Florida Atlantic and Murray State.
