VILLANOVA, PA - The University of Delaware volleyball team dropped its match to Villanova, 3-0 (15-6, 15-11, 15-12), Wednesday. The Hens (2-10) were led by Margaret Lapinski, who had 12 kills and 10 digs. Jennifer Wanner also had 10 kills and five blocks. Villanova (5-7) was led by Breen Eddinger, who had 13 kills and 10 digs. With the loss, Delaware set a new school record with its eighth consecutive loss. The Blue Hens will look to snap that streak, Friday, when they host the Asics/Delaware Invitational. The tournament will get underway at 4 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center. AGATE Villanova def.
