TOWSON, MD - The University of Delaware volleyball team was defeated by Towson University, 3-1 (12-15, 15-9, 12-15, 7-15), Wednesday evening at the Towson Center.

Delaware (7-14, 2-3 America East) was led by Cameo Neeman, who scored 23 kills. Margaret Lapinski and Joanna Dusza both added 25 digs each in the losing effort.

Towson (9-14, 2-3 America East) pulled out the victory behind a strong performance from Lindsey Rattet, who had 29 kills and 17 digs. Teammate Jordann Tomasek added 25 kills and 18 digs.

Delaware has dropped its last two matches. The Hens will come home and host conference opponent Hofstra on Saturday at 1 p.m. That match will be played at the Carpenter Sports Building. Sunday, the Hens will host conference rival, Drexel, at the Bob Carpenter Center.
