HEMPSTEAD, NY - Enkelejda Katiraj had 18 kills to lead Hofstra University past the University of Delaware 3-1 (15-9, 15-12, 11-15, 15-7) to clinch the America East regular season crown in volleyball, Sunday.

Delaware (12-20, 7-7 America East) was led by America East Player of the Week Jennifer Wanner, who scored 14 kills and seven blocks. Captain Joanna Dusza added 14 kills and senior Sadie Bjornstad aided with 50 assists.

Hofstra (24-5, 13-1 America East) was led by Enkelejda Katiraj, who had 18 kills. Teammate Kurtisa Shaw added 12 kills and 14 digs.

With the win, Hofstra has clinched the one seed in the America East tournament and will host Delaware, the four seed. The semi-final match will begin at 5:30 p.m.
