NEWARK, DE -- University of Delaware student-athletes, coaches, and athletics staff will take part in its annual Student-Athlete Day this Tuesday, April 22, on the Blue lot field next to Delaware Field House.

The annual event serves as a chance for Blue Hen athletes from all 23 intercollegiate teams to get together with their fellow athletes, coaches, and athletics staff for a day of fun, food, and entertainment. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and finish at 8 p.m. All UD student-athletes and staff are invited.

Free food, including hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, refreshments, and desserts will be served and live music featuring DJ Amaze will be provided. Various individual and team games will also be held.

The event is being organized by the University of Delaware Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).
