NEWARK, DE -- University of Delaware men’s and women’s basketball season tickets for the 2007-08 season will go on sale Saturday, September 1.

Season tickets can be purchased beginning on Saturday through the University of Delaware athletics website at www.udel.edu/sportsinfo. Beginning Tuesday, September 4 season tickets can also be purchased by calling the UD season ticket office at (302) 831-2257.

Chairback seats for the 12-game men’s basketball home schedule will cost $156, while bench seats will cost $117. All seats for the 15-game women’s home schedule will cost $94. Additionally, Family Four Packs for each team are available for $150.

The men’s and women’s basketball schedules will be announced Tuesday, September 4.

Point guard Kyle DeHaven, a CAA All-Defensive Team selection a year ago when she ranked third on the team with 8.5 points per game, returns to lead the UD women’s team, while fellow senior Courtney Irving also returns after averaging 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds a year ago.

Senior Herb Courtney, a second team All-CAA selection last season, returns to lead the Delaware men after averaging team-highs of 18.1 points and 8.0 rebounds per game a year ago.
