The University of Delaware men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept West Chester in their home opener at Rawstrom Pool Saturday afternoon. The Blue Hen men (2-0) downed West Chester 151-92 while the UD women (2-0) downed the Rams 148-95 to give head coach John Hayman his 100th career dual meet victory. In the men's race, Delaware swimmers won eight races, including three double winners as Luke Schenck won both the 1,000 freestyle (10:01.85) and 500 freestyle (4:55.66), Mike Zambarano won the 50 freestyle (22.17) and 100 freestyle (49.30), and Tom Maday captured the 200 individual medley (2:01.37) and 200 breaststroke (2:12.75). Brian Aston also won the three-meter diving event with a score of 276.375 for the Blue Hens.
