January 20, 1999 LEWISBURG, PA -- Brian Aston and Luke Schenck each won two events but it was a not enough as host Bucknell defeated Delaware 131-112 in a non-league men's swimming and diving meet Wednesday. Aston won the one meter dive with a score of 240.12 points and captured the three-meter with a score of 264.95 while Schenck won both the 1,000 freestyle (9:55.31) and the 500 freestyle (time not available). Also picking up wins for the Hens were Mike Zambarano in the 50 freestyle (22.02) and Tom Maday in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.30) while Peter Metrinko placed second in both diving events. |
