At Delaware: Two-year letterwinner • 2006-07 Season: Swam the 200 butterfly in 1:59.9 against La Salle, the third best time by a UD swimmer on the season • his time of 54.38 in the 100 butterfly at the CAA Championships was the sixth fastest, while his time of 4:43.92 in the 400 individual medley ranked eighth • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll. 2005-06 Season: Swam the 200 butterfly in 2:00.97 at the CAA Championships, the third best time by a Blue Hen on the season • swam the 100 butterfly in 54.66 at the CAA Championships, the fourth fastest time on the year • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Earned four letters in swimming at Northampton High School • named to all-area team • was a state qualifier • earned Coaches’ Award and Spirit Award • also earned four letters in cross country • member of National Honor Society • AP Scholar.

Personal: Ryan Patrick Carolan • son of Sean and Gwen Carolan • has a brother, Matt, and a sister, Caitlin • honor student as an economics major at Delaware with a minor in business administration.
