Former University of North Carolina standout
Judd Lattimore joined the University of Delaware men's lacrosse coaching
staff prior to the 2005 season as an assistant coach.
In his first season with the Blue Hen staff,
Lattimore helped lead Delaware to one its finest seasons in school history.
Delaware posted an 11-6 record
in 2005 when the Blue Hens captured the Colonial Athletic Association
regular season title and advanced to the CAA Tournament championship game
before falling to Towson 9-8 in the title game.
Despite the championship game

the NCAA Tournament and travelled to No. 5 seed Navy where they suffered
a hard-fought 9-7 setback in Annapolis, MD.
Lattimore, a native of Auburn, NY and a 2001
North Carolina graduate, came to Delaware after serving as top assistant
and offensive coordinator at NCAA Division II power Limestone College

The Saints posted a 13-3 record in 2003 and
a 15-2 mark in 2004, advancing to the NCAA II championship game each season.

NCAA team at any division, and set a school record with 314 total goals.
The 15-2 record was the best in school history. While at Limestone, Lattimore
coached 10 All-Americans.
He began his coaching career at Geneseo State
University in 2002, serving as top assistant and offensive coordinator
for a squad that was nationally ranked and enjoyed its best season in
20 years.
Lattimore, who earned his degree in interpersonal
and organizational communications from North Carolina in 2001, enjoyed
a standout career for the Tar Heels. He was a three-year starter at midfielder
and earned Inside Lacrosse Pre-Season All-American honors as a junior
in 2000.
He scored three goals each in 1997 and 1998,
leading the 1998 squad to the NCAA Tournament. He missed the entire 1999
and 2000 seasons due to an injury but returned in 2001 and scored two
goals and dished out four assists for the Tar Heels.
While at Auburn High School, he earned All-American
