HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in football, basketball, and lacrosse at Owings Mills High School...played linebacker, tight end, and kicker in football, forward in basketball, and attack and midfield in lacrosse...earned All-Baltimore County honors as a junior and senior in lacrosse when he also was named team Most Valuable Player...all-time leading scorer in Owings Mills High School history...honor roll student.

AT DELAWARE: First-year team member...talented player who will battle for spot in Hens' No. 2 or No. 3 midfield unit...physical player who drives hard to the goal and has a strong shot.

PERSONAL: Daniel Isaac "Dan" Deckelbaum...born Feb. 10, 1985...son of Jack and Debra Deckelbaum...arts and sciences major...has one younger brother...father played lacrosse at Johns Hopkins in 1972-76...mother is a dance instructor.
