HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport standout in lacrosse, football, and basketball at Fallston High School...played midfield in lacrosse, quarterback in football, and guard in basketball...was named county Player of the Year in lacrosse as a senior when he also was named All-State and All-American...also earned all-county honors as a junior...JUNIOR COLLEGE: Enjoyed an outstanding two-year career at Essex County Community College...was an All-American and the 2003 National Junior College Player of the Year...AT DELAWARE: All-American candidate...junior who looks to make in immediate impact for Blue Hen midfield unit...one of the most highly-recognized recruits for Hens in several years...may also battle for faceoff duties...complete play who can play at both ends of the field...can be counted on as a scorer and a feeder...PERSONAL: Joseph William Trentzsch ("trench")...born May 6, 1982...criminal justice major at Delaware...son of Fred and Debbie Trentzsch...one of three children...enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and hiking in his spare time...father is a fire fighter.
