HIGH SCHOOL: Played lacrosse and soccer at the Landon School in suburban Washington, DC...played for his father in lacrosse and was teammate of current UD goalkeeper Warner Ball...two-year starter in lacrosse as an attackman...earned first team All-IAC and first team All-Montgomery County teams as a senior...honorable mention all-area pick by the Washington Post...led team to three straight league titles before a second place finish his senior year...team had won 22 straight league titles...team was ranked No. 1 nationally his sophomore and junior years and No. 16 his senior year...teams were a combined 56-4 during those three seasons...played midfield in soccer...AT DELAWARE: First-year team member...will add depth at attack...PERSONAL: Thomas Austin Bordley...born May, 1984...son of Robert and Donna Bordley...political science major with minor in history...would like to become a lawyer...avid tennis player...one of three children....father played lacrosse for three years at Princeton and is still active as a lacrosse coach...older brother, John, played lacrosse for four years at Maryland...sister, Claire, will attend Virginia and play lacrosse next year.
