Tickets for University of Delaware Men’s Lacrosse NCAA Game vs. Johns Hopkins to Go on Sale Tuesday

athlete photoNEWARK, DE -- Tickets for the University of Delaware men’s lacrosse team’s trip to the NCAA championships this weekend in Baltimore, MD will go on sale at the Delaware Field House Ticket Office beginning Tuesday morning, May 22, at 9 a.m.

The No. 15 ranked Blue Hens (13-5) will take on No. 3 seed and fifth ranked Johns Hopkins (11-4) in the NCAA Division I national semifinals this Saturday, May 26 at 12 noon at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the National Football League Baltimore Ravens. The other semifinal game will begin at 2:30 p.m. with top seed and No. 2 ranked Duke (16-2) taking on top-ranked and No. 2 seed Cornell (15-0). The national championship game will be played Monday, May 28 at 1 p.m. at M & T Stadium.

In addition to the three NCAA Division I games, the NCAA Division III championship game between Salisbury and Cortland State at 1:30 p.m. and the Division II title game between Mercyhurst and LeMoyne at 4:30 p.m. will be played Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.

The University of Delaware has been allotted 800 all-session only tickets on the lower level which are good for both games Saturday, both games Sunday, and the championship game on Monday. The price is $65 for each all-session ticket.

Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning and can be purchased in-person at the Delaware Field House Ticket Office or by phone by calling 302-831-2257. Although sales begin Tuesday, tickets will not be available for pick-up until Thursday, May 24 at 12 noon.

Tickets sold by phone can either be picked up at the Delaware Field House Ticket Office or left at the Will Call window at the stadium. Tickets sold both in person and by phoneThere is also a limited amount of all-session parking available for sale for $40 at the UD Ticket Office.

Single-day tickets will not be sold at the University of Delaware and can only be purchased through the Baltimore Ravens ticket office at 410-261-RAVE. Single-day tickets include only upper deck seating. Single-game tickets are $30 for Saturday’s semifinals and $25 for Sunday’s championship game.

Delaware, the Colonial Athletic Association champions, will be looking to capture their first-ever NCAA men’s lacrosse championship. The Blue Hens, who have won seven straight games, advanced to the semifinals with a 14-8 win over defending national champion and No. 2 seed Virginia in the first round May 13 and with a 10-6 win over UMBC in the quarterfinals this past Sunday.
