(Parent's Day) October 10, 1998 at 10:30 a.m. 1st Place Both the University of Delaware men's and women's cross country teams won the Delaware Invitational held today (Saturday) at White Clay Creek State Park. On the men's side, Delaware was led by Michael Puglisi (Wilmington, Del./St.Mark's HS), Michael DiGennaro (South Hamilton, Mass./Hamilton-Wenham HS), and Dave Geesaman (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin HS) who all finished in a time for 26:40 over eight kilometer course. The Hens also got points from Jemery Muratoe (Tenafly N.J., HS) who ran in a time of 27:21 and Kevin Danahy who finished at 27:56. Felix Olivo of Monmonuth University finished first in the meet with a time of 26:09. Men Final Team Standings: 1. University of Delaware - 19; 2. Monmouth University - 45; 3. University of Richmond - 62; 4. Lehigh University - 99; 5. Lincoln University - 141; 6. Delaware State - 164. Individual Champion: Felix Olivo (Monmouth University), 26:09 Top Delaware Finishers: 2.
