Wilmington College Invitational Sept. 28, 2002  Blue Hens Win Third Team Title of Fall; Morgan Wins Meet   GREENVILLE, DE -- The University of Delaware men's cross country team captured its third meet title of the season and the Blue Hen women placed second to highlight action at the Wilmington College Cross Country Invitational Saturday at Valley Garden Park. The Delaware men, led by overall champion, freshman John Morgan, scored 28 points to lead the four-team field. Lebanon Valley was second with 45 points, McDaniel was third with 79, and host Wilmington was fourth with 121 points. Albright was fifth while Arcadia, University of the Sciences, Alvernia, and Philadelphia Bible College competed without full teams. In the women's race, McDaniel took the team title with 38 points, outdistancing Delaware (75) and Lebanon Valley (91). Albright was fourth followed by Arcadia, Immaculata, University of the Sciences, Philadelphia Bible College, and Alvernia. Wilmington College competed without a full team. The Blue Hen men, who won the team title at Towson and at their own Delaware Invitational the last two weeks, placed five runners in the top 10 take first place honors. Morgan covered the five-mile course in 29:57 to win the individual title. Also for the Hens, Mike Manlove was fourth (30:27), Matt Bryden was sixth (31:05), Clark Ridge was eighth (31:16), and Eugene McAuliffe was ninth (31:21). In the women's race, Delaware freshman Jennifer Kutney led three UD runners in the top 20 with a fourth place finish in 22:29. Lisa Salvatore placed 13th (23:24) and Colleen Reid was 16th (23:46).
